Mr. Marián JUSKO

Mr. Marián Jusko is presently appointed as the Seismic Engineering Officer with the Engineering and Development Section of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) in Vienna, Austria.
Former Systems Engineer at Nanometrics Seismological Inc., in Canada, Mr. Jusko bares rich experience of designing and installing turn-key systems for complex National Seismic and Tsunami Warning Networks deployed throughout the world. Since 2007, Mr. Jusko delivered over 60 installations in 25 countries on 6 continents. Mr. Jusko’s expertise also extends to Network Monitoring Services in the Seismic and Oil & Gas domains.
In his present role at the CTBTO, Mr. Jusko’s principal responsibilities span from supporting the growth of the International Monitoring System (IMS) through station installations, certifications, and revalidations, to research and development, and incorporation of new products and technologies into the existing and new station installations. Presently, Mr. Jusko takes leading role in development of the next generation data acquisition systems and turn-key power system solutions for the IMS. Keeping abreast of new technologies, Mr. Jusko is currently undergoing a Master of Renewable Energy program at the European Centre of Technology.
Aside from his Engineering career, Mr. Jusko is a passionate music enthusiast, holding a Master of Music degree in Violin Performance from the University of Ottawa, having performed throughout Europe and North America as a soloist and a member of the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra.
