RADM Hamlin TALLENT
RADM Hamlin Tallent is a senior advisor to ADS, Incorporated, a Virginia Beach, Virginia, logistics solution provider. He works with a team of energy and installation experts to design, outfit, support and evaluate expeditionary camp performance around the world. Current data mining efforts in Poland and Georgia, for instance, provide real world energy efficiency insights that are invaluable to military and civilian camp planning.
Prior to working with ADS, Incorporated, RADM Tallent served as Vice President and President of Sentek Global, a defense consulting firm that supported the development of the US Navy’s Future Command Center (FCC). He also consulted to the Navy’s Program Executive Office for Command and Control, Communications and Computers (PEO C4I) and led a team to develop and produce the concept of operations for the Global Theater Security Cooperation Management Information System (GTSCMIS). Theater Security Cooperation is the sum total of everything US DoD does to enhance national security outside of warfighting (military aid, training, equipment, etc.).
RADM Tallent served as Director of Operations for US European Command where he was responsible for advising the commander on all US military operations, including the command and control of US forces across an area of responsibility that at that time stretched from Russia to South Africa. He advised the commander on US force support to NATO and conceived, developed and found funding for the Trans Sahara Counter Terrorism Initiative; a nine nation program to halt the growth of Islamic extremism in North Africa.
RADM Tallent has significant leadership experience to include command of an F14 Tomcat squadron, an eight squadron carrier air wing, the Navy’s East coast tactical Training Group, and a carrier battle group.
